Default Dropped the antenna wire (don't ask)

While removing my old antenna base from the fender, the antenna wire fell off the base and down into the fender.
Question is: is it possible to retrieve the wire by removing the inner fender liner, or is there an easier way? Might the end of the antenna be magnetic? Grasping at straws here.
Thanks in advance!
BTW, it's a 1997 F150 XLT

When I put my new fender on I forgot to plug it in lol. I just unscrewed a couple screws holding the liner on and put my hand in there. IDK if it's just me, but that liner is a PITA to line up properly with one person.

Can you bend a wire hanger and fish it out?

With the plastic fender liner partly loose or removed ant wire is right in your face. Plastic push pins and a few screws. May be 2 cables attached to liner on the inside. Where white pins come thru. in the middle. Just had my '99 out last week.
