Default 97-03 reg cab short bed w/5.4

I'm just wondering how many people out there have a regular cab short bed with the 5.4. I've heard they are kinda uncommon. Post a pic of your rig to.

I think they are uncommon because they were produced around the time period where if it wasn't a crew cab or s cab why own one

I think its badass personally the lightest f150 with the biggest v8. Hell yeah that's what I'm all about! and the way you worded it could go either way. Why own a reg cab or why have a big v8 in a regular cab?

Same here it's just that's the reason u don't see many is because more people were wanting more space and I like the reg can shot boxes way more than the long boxes

Yeah i feel you there the only time i like a long box is when its on a regular cab diesel. another time i think its only for work. lol i can't wait to do tonsof stuff to my truck so it doesn't look like an elderly man's vehicle.lol

Only reason i got a single cab is because i don't need the space and was more worried about power. Haha my next truck will prob be a extended cab.

I have an extended cab with a 5.4 and it has plenty of power so a reg cab would be sick

Oh you know it man. I'm obsessed with the power. I'm doing everything that I'm going to do to the engine before i get big tires so i can feel all the upgrades. lol do you have any tunes with your edge? I'm intrested in them. did you feel some good gains with the edge and straight pipes?

With the straight pipes edge and my cold air intake I felt a decent gain and in a couple years when I rebuilt my motor I'm going to supercharge it
