Default Drop Ball Question

Anyone tow with a 6 - 8 inch lift truck.. i was wondering on how big of a drop ball i'll need for my truck to tow a trailer without it leaning up do to my lift?? Thanks Yall

I don't know anything about it but it makes sense that if you have a 6-8 inch lift you would need to drop it 6-8 inches.

I have an 8 inch drop for my truck, works pretty damn good

BINGO. My other tryck was lifted 6" and a 6" drop hitch was perfect.

Be careful what drop you get. Make sure it will pull your trailer. When you have a large drop hitch it lowers the towing ability.

Yeah, they are pricey. I think my 6" drop was about 60 bux. I tow my ~4000 lb. boat with it without any problems.

i have a 4 1/2 drop ball for a trailor i use. it wasnt very expensive. I paid like $20 for it at kreagan Auto parts. Its master lock brand. rated for 7000 lbs with 2" ball.
