Double Din head unit install?
Hey all- first post here. I'm a new owner of a 1998 f250 light duty, and sine the body and interior are exactly the same as the f150, I figured I would post my question here.
Has anyone installed a double din size head unit in their 97-98 f150? I really want to install a double din DVD receiver head unit and crutchfield says double dins are not compatible, but I'm thinking I might be able to dremmel out enough space to make it work. Thoughts from the community?

There are some links that helped me install mine. I put a pioneer double din in mine. They do fit pretty well, but require some trimming behind and the trim kit if you dont want the gap around it. It was worth the extra time, I love my stereo.
