Default Door Speakers

I recently bought some new speakers for my front doors and half doors. My only current issues is being able to get to the speakers already in the door. I'm just asking what part of the door I need to take off since I see no obvious bolts anywhere to unscrew anything. Any help is much appreciated!

Have you looked on you tube for any videos. It's really simple. Takes like 5 minutes once you have done it a time or two. But hard for me to explain.

Have not looked yet but I understand how it would be difficult to understand. I shall go look.

here is how you do the front doors.

The 97-98 have a slightly different door panel but are pretty similar to the 99-03.

Word of advise, when prying up on any of the door panel pieces, only use your hands and pry gently.

1. Pry up on the long/skinny trim piece that runs along side the window, it should pop off.

2. There is one screw that needs to be removed that is under the trim piece near the bottom.

3. Next look at the door handle. It has an oval shaped piece of plastic behind it, gently pry up on it from the side closest to the front of the truck and slide it off of the handle. The side farthest from the front of the truck has a tab that can snap off if your not careful.

4. You should see another screw behind this piece you just removed behind the door handle that needs to be removed.

5. The switch panel is next. They are all mounted to one trim piece that also needs to by pried off. Pry up on the front side, closest to the front of the truck first. Be careful removing this piece, the back side has a tab that slides under the main door panel that will easily snap off.

6. Now that you can see where all of the switches are plugged in, unplug all of them and push the wires/plugs through the hole in the door panel.

7. Now grab the entire door panel and lift it up, once you lift it high enough to clear the door lock you can pull it away from the door. Be careful and don't pull it off too hard there is a small wire attached to it on the back

8. The wire on the back of the panel is for the bulb in the light/reflector that's on the door panel. You can remove it by turning the bulb which will release it from the panel.

Thanks for the help. That's a lot more simple than I thought it would be!
