Default Door Rattle

My '03 SuperCrew has a driver's side door rattle when driving, hitting road bumps, etc. It looks like the door was in an accident, because the weld spots are different than the other doors and the bolts are painted white... I'm going to pick up a Haynes/Chilton manual and pull the door apart this weekend. I'm just wondering what the typical things to look for are that might be causing my rattle.

Maybe they left bolts inside when the new door was put on? Regulators lose? You have something in the door pocket you don't know about? It could be a number of things.

I got my service manual yesterday and will likely pull the door trim off this weekend. I guess that I'll just look around and/or drive with the interior panel off to see what jiggles.

my '01 scab has the same problem on the passenger side........at first I thought the latch was misaligned, but it is in the right spot.....nothing in the side pockets either...

Guess I'll watch this thread and see if any answers come to light.

My 98 did that for a while, one of the brackets for the track had broke and was smacking around in there
