What the purpose of the little red lens on the door panel? I have a 2003 f150 lariat supercrew fx4

 

Fyi I took the door panel off ans couldnt find any wires to ot or anything guess its jus a reflector but im still confused y theres a hole cut in and u can pop the little lens off. Guess ill never no

 

It's a reflector ONLY - with no pre-wire in the door to light it up. Front doors light as normal. Remember, it's cheaper to manufacture a set of lenses (of which 2 work), etc, than to make an individual, non-functioning assembly for the rear doors.

Idk brother I don't have a harness either but I have reflectors lol I got an 03 XLT maybe we just didn't make the cut lol

 

its wierd thou because theres lil holes cut in the panel for what would appear to b lights but i guess we jus wasnt good enough lol

 

There should be a bulb in there

 

do you know where the wire would connect to if it was? there but its the same on both sides
