Yea it'd be your best bet.. I saw on the 2009-2012 forum the other day a clear laminate-type of thing that you can get the front of your vehicle and mirrors done it and it protects it from bugs and such.. and it washes off easy because its just being washed off the laminate which is obviously like rubber/plastic. Pretty awesome and you wouldn't have to worry about the dip peeling and stuff like that lol

Ok let me get this right. I just sand the area I wanna place the plasti-dip; spray it on; then let it dry?
Going to try and test it out tmrw on my rusted trailer hitch area.

I will be buying some roll on bed liner with in the end of the month; what I don't use of that I'm thinking I will sand the underbody of the truck and get it with the bed liner.

Don't know if you can see the rust in that picture.

My understanding is that no sanding is necessary. I could be wrong, but I understood this to be the reason that Plasti Dip is so popular and great.

I think I would still have to do a little sanding; I have peeling rust on it.

This stuff def looks better from far away then close up if brushed on.. My hitch looks like bed liner texture; same as my tow hooks. Not bad; just not smooth like paint.
