Default Did Gotts mod today...

I used 3" Tygon flexible tubing I found at work, notched it to fit inside the filter housing and pushed through fender. All I can say is wow I like it!!! Now to get my exhaust...

If i remember correctly the silence is partly built into the box and it constrains the passage down to about 2". It helps keep that suvking sound away. But since thats ehat people like to hear get rid of it and youll notice even better performance.
