Default Depo Headlights

Does anyone have experience with these headlights?

Seems to have a separate high beam light. If so how did you wire them? Set up?

Thanks.

I have them and they're great. The wiring is not an issue, they are plug and play. Lows stay on with the high beams, so you get a TON of light. Lows alone are much better than stock. I have Syvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs in mine.

Plug and play? The picture I posted has 2 plugins for the headlight.

I really like how yours look compared to the ones I found. Where did you get yours from?

They came with a wiring harness. You plug your original plug into the harness, and it splits to go to the two lights.

I got 'em on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-98-99-00-01-02-03-F150-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-HEAD-BLK-/360629191334?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53f72cc2a6&vxp=mtr.

Hey guys, so is the low beam still a 9007? And I read somewhere the high beam is a 9005? I'm thinking of getting a pair of these and putting HID's in the high beam

If you did plan on doing that, be careful. If you flash the high beams, a few issues will occur:

1. Brightness will not be at max for a few seconds due to warm up
2. Constant flashing will murder the ballasts and bulbs, so try to avoid that if you can.

Just want to give you a heads up before you go doing that.

Yes I am aware of the warm up and going easy on flashing, thanks!

But, if I'm not mistaken, for these Depo lights the low beam bulb is a dual filament 9007 thus there is essentially 4 high beam lights: the 2 projectors are highs; and the 2 reflector housing bulbs are lows & highs

So iff the projectors were HID...The reflector housing (9007 halogen bulb) would switch from low to high as the high beam (HID projector) was warming up.

If thats how it works, these babies would shine!

I'm not sure about those, but on my friends eBay lights the projectors were the low beams

The projector on these headlights is the high beam, the 9007 low beam does not switch back and forth between hi/low.
