Default Dead. Need help!

So after a long grueling month i am set to get my licenses back tomorrow (Local insurance frowns on us young drivers ) So i went to go start the truck tonight to see if everything was good for its big debut tomorrow and first thing i noticed is when i opened the door nothing happened, no alarm, no light, so i assumed the battery was dead so i just made sure and went to start the ignition and nothing happened. So i left the charger on for an hour or so and came back and still the same thing so i started to investigate more. When i turn the ignition nothing happens, no radio, no lights, also do not hear the fuel pump pressurizing. If i proceed to turn the ignition over still nothing happens, no lights, and zero noise, no ticking or anything. Their was some mild corrosion on the + terminal on the battery which i cleared it all off but it did nothing, i also checked my fuses and everything seemed in check.

Please help me out here guys, my truck was working completely fine before i parked it in the garage for the month and now its . It is 98' scab, 4.6l 5spd. I'm considering roll starting it just to see if i can get anything out of her.

Thanks for time guys! all help is appreciated.

I would go ahead and disconnect both terminals and while you are at it have the battery checked out, try twisting the terminals a bit

You have a problem with mice where you live? Might have chewed some sh*t up.

U might have a dead cell in the battery. Have it checked out that's what it sounds like to me. If you have any doubts change it I have seen them explode with people trying to jump one with a bad cell. Batteries are no joke so watch out

Might as well mix some baking soda and water and tend to the battery cables prior to putting the battery back in
