Default Daystar leveling kit...

I found this Daystar 2.5" leveling kit...

http://www.daystarweb.com/productdet...?productID=145

and it says i need after market control arms...it doesnt say what kind or size or anything. Can anybody help me?

Is this too much of a lift that the front would be higher than the back? or should i stick with the 1.5" which doesnt require aftermarket control arms?

I did some more search on the daystar product. apparently after a year or so they settle and you lose about an inch because the are polyuerothane and not steel...

I think they sell shocks that can be adjusted through PSI raise it 0-1-2" or something like that.

Hmmmmm, I raised the front end of my 97 2wd 150XLT with the Daystar 2'' rubber spacer that went under the coil spring. put it there about 1 1/2yr ago haven't noticed any change, truck still appears to be level even though I haven't put a tape on it recently. Just my .02 worth.

is 2" a lot of lift? id like a 2" but they only make 1.5" and 2.5(which i would need new control arms for some reason its what it says)" so the 1.5 would be cheaper..

I know the level kits start at 2" for the newer trucks so i would say no, its not a lot of list. I dont know much about your body style though.
