Default dashboard lights out

Hi,
I've got a 2001 F150 and I replaced the bulbs behind the temperature controls because they were burned out, but now all the dashboards lights don't work. I replaced the fuse (was still good, but i replaced it anyway). Any ideas?

Did you use actual filament bulbs, or LED's? I've seen the cheap LED's put in backwards do some weird things.

Did it kill the radio and heater control lights as well?

Well the heater/AC control light bulbs are what I was replacing, then all the dashboard lights wouldn't work after I replaced them.

If you take them back out, will the dash lights come on again?- if so, then it sounds like a short in the temp control lighting circuit.
