Right after I got my '01 F150 I had to replace the headlight switch (maybe two or three months ago). Seems to me it lighted up the little parking and headlight indicators in the switch housing when the lights were turned on, but now I'm not sure. The only thing that lights up now is the fog light indicator. Can anybody help me out here? I want to know if I got a bad switch so I can take it back. It should be under warranty. Thanks!

All I ask is for someone to go out to their F150, turn the lights on parking and headlight and see if the little indicator lights on the switch housing come on. I don't have any other way to find out whether I got a defective switch. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure mine don't light up.

 

Its a little Led light, not a big deal as long everything works. But if you bought it new, I would get another. I have several of these on hand if anyone is in need.

 

Lol it looks like I might need one. I'm going to look at mine whenever I make it home to see.

 

Only thing lighting on mine is for fog lamps and automatic lighting.

 

Do u have a switch that has two dials on it with pull out fog lights and three plugs in the.back for.a 99 f150

 

I had the same issue,couldn't remember if they lit up or not after I did the Bambi mod. Mine lit up for a couple hours,so I guess I knocked something loose
