Default gauge color

I just changed my cluster back to the white bulbs, and then put blue tape over the lighted up areas on the back of the cluster, I left the red uncovered, and the rest shows blue, and the needles show up nice too. I've got white LED's on the way to make it brighter, and add a blueish tint to it. I'll order the white face gauges next and then install the white LED's behind it also.

Question Door switch LEDs?

I read somewhere that someone changed the switch colors to match. Where did they get those teeny LEDs from?

you can go onto ebay and look up ebay seller ctluminations and i think that the little bulbs are the 37. they have 6 colors in the led bulbs in the 37 size. thats who i just purchased mine from and they are the white ones. i believe that they are the same as your guage bulbs.

Default Bulbs or LEDs?

FOMOCO,
Are there bulbs under the gauges & a/c controls or are there LEDs in a circuit board? I have a '07 f150 STX & I can't find anything that'll tell me. I'm looking to change mine to all blue. Thanks.

For my 04 f150 I wanted my ac panel to be blue instead of green to match my aftermarket cd player .. I took it apart found a circuit board with around 20 leds and just plugged the circuit board in to see which were green Note: 3 were blue and 3 were red for hot and cold(i went to http://www.unique-leds.com/ The PLCC2 Top Emitting Leds were the ones i used and they have alot of colors i went with the bright blue ones called just Blue .. Not super or high effe. Each led light has a column near the bottom that shows the color and is pretty much exact) I had to desolder and resolder the new ones onto the board was fun and WELL worth it .. Looks great..ill try and get some good pictures of it my iphone's camera is terrible

im trying to do the same thing! i hate the green on my dash, i have blue superduty doorsills, blue courtesy lights and a blue aftermarket headunit, and it all clashes against the green so i want to change the green color to blue! i have a 2006 ford f250 xlt superduty. so im still confused is it leds behind the dash or a screen?

remove gauge cluster, buy desired color(s) of led replacement blubs, take apart gauge cluster(like u would to install a different guage background.), use alcohol or other chemical to remove green layer on back of guage under-lay, install new leds, enjoy. there is a how to with pics somewhere on here ill look for it tommorrow.
