it really depends on what you want done to it and all that i know a basic paint job aint cheap if its done by a pro lol down here its like 2 or 3 grand for a normal paint job and if you go custom it can go up to like 5 or 6 with custom stuff on it

Yep. You can figure on about 2 to 3 grand for a GOOD ( as in factory good ) paint job and custom all depends on pricing of the painter, how detailed it is, what type of paints, and how long it takes them.
It isn't cheap.
