so i cant decide on my new tire size, so i need your help. regearing is outta the question. its gunna be between 285-315/75/16. theres a guy on another forum with an 03 Fx4 just cranked bars and it looks sweet and he claims with the 315-70-17's he only trimmed about an inch of valance and no rubbing. its just the 285's still look a little on the small side still. but i only have a 4.6 and drive up serious hills daily, i have a CAI exhaust with hollwed cats and a tuner. i would like to keep my mileage somewhere near the 13-14 im getting...but dont tow or haul at all. what do i do????

BTW i have 265-75-16 now

 

go with a 305-70-16 or the 285s

 

I agree 285's and no trimming still looks good too

 

Nothing smaller than the 285's man.
