im thinking about fabing up my own light bar bc im tired of nothing ever fitting my truck...here is a rough drawing of what im gana do.... any thoughts? would anybody be intrested in buying one? just wondering?

just an idea for you, could you not use exhaust tubing and get it bent at the muffler shop? you could use any thing from 1 1/4" up to 5" round tubing. Just idea is all, I don't know if the bullbars are actually strong enough to push with anyhow and all they are for is for mounting lights, right???

haha that is the exact pic that i was looking at.... also that was a good idea bout the exhaust pipe...what size plate do you think i will need for the sides and to mount to the frame? and yes it is just for lights...

Just found my next mod! Exactly what I've been wanting to build. Simple and effective, ne'er been a fan of the bullbars but I want this!

 

I have ordered a few light bars from Randy Ellis....all good quality stuff with great finish.
