Desert Dawg, been following your builds for years and alway admired your clean taste. Got two questions for you... 1) Do you feel the need for ext reservoirs on your front coilovers? 2) how did you manage 2.5" of leveling? Fox and Stage3 mention that only about 2" of leveling is possible with both the Fox 2.0 and 2.5's. I can't see aftermarket a-arms adding any leveling. Or maybe your truck still has a bit of rake? Cheers!

Desert Dawg, wondering if I could get some more info on your truck. I have the same model Ford, just a 2012 model FX4 with same rims and cap in tuxedo black. Wondering if you just have a leveling kit or an actual lift on your truck? Also, I think I read that you have 1.5" spacer/adapters on your wheels. I am looking for the same type of look for my truck. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Desert Dawg, you sure have some nice trucks. I was wondering which set up you have done, do you think rides the best? a 4" lift, a 2-2.5" spacer or the coilover/level?
I have a 2.5" spacer and considering a 4" lift, or just doing the 1" body lift to get me to the 3.5-4" height. What do you think? or which way would you go?

I am liking you 2013 FX4. Do you think I can pull off the same look with a leveling kit

Hhey there desert dawg I was looking through some of your posts and I saw that you are running the Fox 2.5 remote coilovers up front. I just got a set of the FOA 2.5 remote coilovers, I have been trying to find the bracket to mount them to the strut mount. I saw that's how you have yours mounted, did yours come with the kit, or did you have to get them separately. the ones I had on order were discontinued . Also where did u order the kit from maybe I can shoot them an email and see if I can just get the brackets

Man, you really have a talent for mods. I can't wait to see if you mod the 15 f-150. You really seem to understand scale. The tire wheel to lift combinations have been very good. I normally like the look of 6" and 35's but its just too tall for my age and garage. The lift, tire, wheel, topper, and bumper combo's you have posted appear to be pretty functional and look very good. Believe it or not, although I can afford a new 2015, I'm looking for a low mileage KR 08. I miss the original saddle leather from the 05-08 years. I recently sold and 05 that still looked new inside, well not new but nicely kept and aged. I have been disappointed in the 09-14 KR leather. Was hoping that the 15 would go back to original materials. Looking forward to your future projects

Hi, what are the dimensions of your duratracs? I have the same 20" wheels as you and want to get a set a duratracs and keep te same set of wheels without the tire being too wide.

Hello again Paul . I have started my build and order all kinds of stuff . I am wondering on your 09 is that the original fender flares from your FX4 package ? I have looked at the smaller flares from Bushwacker and am not sure about them . I definitely want a flare but not the large ones on the Fords as I am not crazy about the width of them . Thank you .

    Hey Paul .
Last thing and then I will stop bothering you . I am debating between aggressive 33 or aggressive 35's . On your 09 you had the 35's and on your 11 you had 33's ... which did you prefer on your truck ? I will be putting the Rancho lift in so clearance will not be an issue . Thanks for the input .
    Craig .

Hello Desert Dawg . First off I would like to thank you for posting details of your builds ... we have similar tastes . I am new on here but have been lurking for a while . My question is this : I have been thinking of putting a Rancho lift in like you did with your 09 FX4 but see that with your 11 ecoboost you went with a leveling kit . Can you explain why you did not go with a lift and if it was just because of the less $ were you happy with the results . Thank you very much . Craig .
