After some minor trimming and welding I got my pre runner skid plate on. I like it so far gonna include the stock metal bumper and an after market valence into my build with the plate behind the bumper. Maybe throw some diamond plate on the skid plate. Let me know what y'all guys think. I would like to see some other custom bumpers. You can see where I stuck the top trim piece. Goal is to mount a stock bumper just below that. Then the aftermarket valence under that. Every thing sprayed with undercoating most likely. I just need to get my hands on a straight bumper so I can pull the trigger on ordering the valence.

Just wondering why you made the effort to fab all this up, now you're going to cover it with a stock bumper

So I'll have a larger skid plate behind the bumper. It'll still have the prerunner look but look stock like a raptor skid or even a Tacoma. My bumper was all messed up after I ran off the road awhile back so I wanted to do something different.

that skid looks pretty vertical... with my experience a skid with more angle works better so you slid over obsticals instead of crash into them haha, but Im interested in seeing how this plays out.
