Default Cup Holders

Hey All, New Guy Here.

Have a 2001 F150 Super Crew 5.4 which I purchased new, 54K miles on it.

Someone recently broke the cup holders on it in the dash., looked to be cracked internally and needs replacing. Or is there something else I can put in there to replace the cup holders?

Where do I start....

Also thinking of a new stereo, should this be changed at the same time?

Thank you

depends on how bad its cracked you can super glue it, go to junk yard and replace it, clear silicone the cracks.

Thx, Sorry I didn't elaborate a bit, When I pull out the cupholders, the right side is dangling, like the track/guide is broken internal.

Like I tell a lot of folks on different forums, check Craigslist (auto parts) in your area. A lot of wrecks/part outs available. For a piece that small, a couple of bucks solves your problem (if glue isn't an option) - and they're usually thankful before the rest of the vehicle goes to the crusher.

Not sure about the 2001 model, but the '98 has the "Din and a half" form factor head unit, with the pair of "push pins" on each side. You can get a $5 tool from AutoZone that can be used to push the pins in, and the head unit comes right out, without the need to take any dash panels off. So, you will be able to get the radio out faster than the cup holder!
