And I like a woofer where there not afraid to put the RMS wattage in the title instead of the max.

So I just got my speaker and it's great. BUT just like the last two that I had when you turn up the volume it makes a popping noise. Do any of you know what that is. So what i'm thinking is that since the amp is 1800watt max and the speaker is only 1000 that i'm over powering it and I need a speaker with a max closer to 1800 rather than matching the 500 watt rms.
