Default crazy idea?

I have a 97 XLT with the stupid reflective privacy glass. I just found that VHT makes a spray window tint. I'm thinking about doing only the small back side windows, on the outside to get rid of the mirror look. Anybody ever mess with this stuff?

Well, I have tried REMOVING it. For starters, it looked tacky. You could definitely tell it was spray on. Removing it was a pain, but aided by a detailing solvent call Pro-sol. My suggestion?? Have it done the old fashioned way.

That's what I was afraid of. But to tint it regularly, I pretty much have to change out that glass. I hate that reflective look!

Wouldn't putting a sheet or two of 5% get rid of it?

Only if I put it on the outside I think. If you tint the inside it only makes it worse!

So you're saying the glass itself is reflective? The only stuff I've seen like that is tint sheets

Yeah, my understanding is that the reflective look is "in" the glass. I called a junk yard here and they want $75 a piece for clear ones! And I would like to see a pic of that too...just want to figure out what to do. My truck is all black, the front windows are tinted, the almost mirror lookin windows bug the hell outta me!
