Default cop questions

I have an 01 screw 5.4 im gonna do a tune up on. Ive already cleaned the throttle body and am.going to do the plugs and oil this coming week. Im gonna use motorcraft plugs full syn oil like always. My question is to the best of my knowledge my cops have never been changed. I have 220k miles and they all say motorcraft. Do i need to change them even though it runs smooth and i have no cel on? Ive read a bunch of the coil threads on what brands to use and what not to use, but ive never read anything about coils lasting this long. I plan on use dialetic grease when i put them back in. Thanks for the help guys!

If it were me i would leave them be. I plan on doing mine soon and the only thing I really would worry about is maybe changing the boots. Like the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. But if you do have the extra money you can buy motor craft coils online through advance auto parts and get 15% off

We'll see how the change goes. But that $170 set looks like a good deal in case one does go bad. Im just surprised that all my coils are still motorcraft. Unless.one went bad and the PO bought oem ones. Ive noticed that even @ 220k miles it seems to have been well taken care of before i got it thankfully!

Yeah it's nice to have a truck that's been taken care of!
