If you can't find anyone in the area to braze it, which is hard to believe, try the local high school shop teacher or local community college. TIG welding will work also with an experienced welder. If that tube is what I'm thinking it is, it's thin metal. Your other option is to have a tube made without the nipple. There's not much to the tube and most custom automotive fabrication shops will have the tooling to make it.

It's the tube that goes into the back of the water pump, and goes all the way through the valley, and out the back. It would be somewhat difficult to make one vs. plugging it.

The Myth Busters proved multiple times that a person could save the world with a semi load of duct tape so you never know?

LOL, he did use duct tape on the duct work that was dollar store quality. I only use the metal tape, personally.

On my Mustang, this what I did to plug that nipple off.... I had plans of brazing it, but I am completely eliminating that pipe with the new motor.

That's one way to do it. The factory cap is a vacuum cap with a pinch or tension clamp. You know , the kind of clamp you squeeze together to remove w/a pair of bent needle nose pliers. It's a high tension clamp.

Those are much cleaner looking. I wouldn't mind getting the tools and clamps to make some of those for my injector hoses.
