Coolant Leak-See pic
This part is leaking. What is it called and how hard to fix? Does anyone know? Is it the water crossover tube?? (I stole the picture from a different site that was no help.
Appreciate anyone's expertise.
It's a 01 F150 SC 4WD 5.4

BigRedLXT is right. That is not my truck, but I have the same part leaking. Is there a gasket or O ring between that? I just don't know what to ask for at the parts store.

Good luck. It's the coolant crossover tube. To access it, the entire intake manifold must be removed. There is an o-ring seal underneath, if you intake itself hasn't been deformed.
Mine's in the shop right now for the same thing. I thought about doing it myself, but ultimately decided it was too much work.

Thanks dbozman. Unfortunatley, with times the way they are...it's going to have to be done at home!
Keep an eye on this post to see all my cussin' as I go-LOL! (or help too)

Same problem here. Had to change out the entire intake manifold and put it all back together and now it runs the same..what a PITA. Total cost $330 plus a days time. Have no idea why is stutters and acts like it's hesitating as soon as I put it in gear. I guess the only think I can do is wait for the check engine light to come on again and see what Autozone's code's say. Would that leak cause the injector to go bad? Idles fine in neutral and park. In gear RPMs jump a little and worsens as I accelerate. Seems to happen more when you step on the gas pedal...I don't know what it could be..so frustrating and really don't want a truck payment...Suggestions???(besides a can of gas and a match)

I should let you all know that all the coils have been checked and tested. All the coil boots have been changed, the EGR Pressure regulator was changed, the fuel filter was changed, spark plugs changed....
