sounds like it may b more of a project than I am willing to take on then... if it was a rig that I off road I could afford to just take it a day at a time but since it is a rig I use everyday and need it running and functional I may just wait until I have enough money to buy a back-up rig as well just in case I can't get it done in one weekend... I looked under there and it seems the only thing I need is the hydraulic clutch linkage, pedal assembly, flywheel, the whole clutch assembly( including throwout bearing and clutch fork) and transmission...which is only 800 bucks at the local bone yard... so I am thinking $1000 and I should b able to get this done which if I calculated correctly I will increase fuel mileage enough that it will pay for itself in less than 4 months...

Hard part is finding the stuff to fit in a econoline. This will take lots of fab work using truck parts..

Default Question about my own 2000 f150

My truck is 4.2 v6 that I am planning on heavily modding just about everything. I want to convert it to a manual. Is it possible to do? And if so what is the damage to my wallet going to be? And what parts will I need?

Well your new to the forum so. This thread is 4 years old. Everyone's done except car crazy. And I doubt the op actually did it. But I didn't read the thread so. I would suggest buying a different truck
