under the fuse box in the engine compartment

 

okay , I changed the box located on the passengers side kick panel (10 mm bolt to take wiring harness loose from under hood at firewall and black clip holding inside) not 100% sure that was the computer but I am 99% sure . Didn't change a thing as far as how crappy the truck is running

 

The PCM is out under the hood behind the battery in the firewall... The connector takes a 10mm socket in the center to get it out and I believe the PCM itself is held in by 2 more 10mm bolts. You have to pull out the battery and squeeze in behind the battery box to get at it. I use a 1/4" ratchet with a deep 10mm socket.
