Bot really you will just get that loud sucking sound under the hood where the filter would be. Do the gotts mod and you will still partially get that sound which can be pretty loud

You will just hear the intake sucking in the air through the hood. Exhaust noise won't change unless you change the exhaust, lol.

You will hear a louder sound from inside the cab but it is from the intake and not the exhaust. Then depending on where you are outside in relation to the truck determines if it increases the sound from my experience

Go with the cold air intake. not going to make your exhaust louder but will improve performance and m.p.g. i did the gotts mod on my 02 f150 7700 and its ok but you cant compare it to the airaid intake on my 99 f250 L.D.!! theres always some guys on forums that will tell you that you can get the same effect from the gotts mod as a good intake but i think those are the guys the put down cold air intakes because they cant afford one or just cheap! lol plus my 02 f150 gets 14 m.p.g. and my 99 gets 18 m.p.g.

After I put my CAI on, my acceleration improved greatly and I gained about 1-1.5 mpgs

Hard to say, but I would think it would be louder since more air is flowing over the throttle body...

K guys I just did the GOTTS mod and I didn't feel a difference in pickup and as for gas mileage can't tell just yet. And no my throttle body spacer sounds the same it didn't get louder. To be honest I think all the GOTTS mod does is it just makes it easier for your truck to suck air in but it doesn't suck up any extra air... Cause think about it your engine is only gonna take what it needs..
