cold air intake ??????????????

Default cold air intake ??????????????

i am looking to get a cold air intake and i donno what brand is the best or what to get a few of my buddy's have them and they say it increases the HP and MPG so any advice or suggestions welcome

go with a k&n 77 series, i have it and it makes a big difference

i have another quiestion i got back from a drive around with a buddy and he has a chevy ( ya i know) and he says he has the throttle body spacer on his k&n will i need that to or will just the intake work because i don't have enought money for both

throttle body space aint needed they dont do much if they do anything if i was you id do the gots modd and throw in a k&n replacement filter

go for the roush or airaid CAI ( same thing) , i have it and i love it. forget the spacer if u dont have the cash

does this do the same thing essentially? if not will the silencer-delete trick work?

yeah if you do the gotts mod and air silencer delete and drop in a k&n replacement filter its pretty much they same thing as a cai. plus the filter is covered. just when you do them take the battery post off and reset the computer

i think around 50 bucks im not sure i fount mine one day in a junk truck at a local junk yard still new in the box for 5 bucks so i got lucky on that part lol

throttle body spacers are a total gimmick IMO. If your hard on cash do the gotts mod, and take out the baffle/silencer/snorkel ive heard all three names used. If not id recommend k and n, they have a solid name and milions of dollars of research behind their products, cant go wrong.
