Default coil on plug part numbers

It' my first post here everyone, please be gentle. I'm trying to find a miss in a well used and abused '97 F150 I bought recently. Info I've been reading here led me to the auto wreckers where I picked up some used fuel injectors and six used coil over plug units. My question is, of the six COP's, 2 have yellow Motorcraft tags on top, 1 has an orange tag, 1 has a dark green tag, 1 has a light green tag, and 1 has no tag at all. The part #'s above the Motorcraft trademark are all the same except for the last two digits, and there is a six digit number below the Motorcraft trademark, different on each one. Does anyone know if or what the significance of the tag colors, the last two digits, or the lower six digit numbers is?
