5.8..351?

That's a COP connector ...not a coil pack.

Yes im aware of that, and this COP connector connects to the connects to the coil pack, there are no exposed wires on the coil pack, sorry thought it would be obvious.

Cyclinder 6, the COP to the coil pack, has two wires, one has red and yellow and the other has red and green, im trying to find which one connecto to COP connector correctly when plugged in.

No it doesn't you're incorrect. The 2001 doesn't use coil packs. The 5.4L's never used coil packs and the 4.6L's did used coil packs, but only to 2000. 2001's went to COP ignitions. You should get your facts straight. Not sure where 5.8 is coming from as well.

Not sure why you're purchasing use pigtails from the junk yard when eBay and Amazon sell new...inexpensive and your choice 12 or 14 gauge. You can also purchase the Ford B-crimp terminals on line.

To disconnect terminal inside of connectors, terminal kits for Fords are are also available. Or an eye glass screw driver works perfectly.

There you have it, info to do this correctly...now go make a video worth watching.

For a 2001 F150 5.4

All the COPs share the RD/LG, just look into the adjacent one and check the orientation of the connector and you'll find the position of the wires.

Sorry, 5.4, sure it doesnt use a coil pack your right, but im sure you get what i mean by coil, im sure youre switched on enough to pick that up. its not like im saying fuel injector. besides the point all of this irrilevant to what im asking.

I bought the connector from ebay, i do not need to splice the wire as they come out on their own, so just to clear, and get my facts right for those focsing on other things other than the questions itself.

I am simply asking which wire would be on which side, nothing else, so if you dont know thats fine you can go and point out irrilvenat mistakes to other people.
