So you got a new dpfe sensor? If you took it to the dealer they would have found that to be the problem. I wouldnt replace it until you have eliminated the other possibilities. it being clogged is a strong indicator that that is the problem. White crap in it?? sounds like it lokks like oxidized aluminum. One more possibility is that the intake port from the egr is clogged. For that you will have to take the plenum and intake off to clean it. about a 4-5 hour job. Hopefully you have a garage with heat depending where you are. It's not hard to do, just time consuming. Get a haynes manual for the proper torque sequence and values. plus a book is always nice to have for reference

I hope so...it was the original one...the little vacuum lines were full of that what stuff to...im down in south Texas..so its warm out now...i have a plumbing prooject next..lol...then im going to do the ports...should i seafoam it?...This truck sat in a garage most its life...so i feel its going to have some quirks...but its such good shape...that i dont mind spending the time and money on it...i just want it to run the best it can...i think i will change the plugs and wires....something else im leaning towards is replacing the Cat and muffler in the near future...i will keep yall updated..thanks again.

sea foam wont do anything if the egr port is clogged it will however clean the injectors and other ports. i stand by seafoam. funny thing is that i just had my intake unclogged. if the cats and or muffler is clogged you may see some overheating and hear a whirring sound, also just do a visual inspection at that pipe to see if you can see the smoke. since your truck is new the bolts prolly wont be too corroded, you can eliminate the exhaust by unbolting the exhaust at the manifold, and drive it to see if the thing runs better.
