I have one of those codes myself. First of all the vacuum lines are the small plastic lines that run all around the engine and hook up into various things. The MAF sensor is in the housing with your air filter there is also a IAC (Idle Air Control ) in the same area They actually make a spray cleaner for the MAF The PCV or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve is located I think on the driver side valve cover and connects to the throttle body with a plastic hose you can pull it out and shake it and if it moves freely then its probably ok.. also check the plastic tube on there they have been known to crack and cause problems

Your 97 has an aluminum intake plenium chamber between the throttle body and the engines intake manifold. At the joint of the plenium and intake rubber seals are use. My dime against your dollar, that is where the air leakage is that is causing the codes.

Go to the dealership and ask for a parts breakdown for the intake system for your year model engine and also talk to them about the codes. They will verify exactly what I have just said.

On my 02 4.2 the PCV valve is mounted into the throttle body and has two small coolant hoses connected to it for a heater action in cold weather. Am not sure if the 97 models utilized the same PCV valve heater system, again the PCV valve will be in the same general area as is the intake seals and might be pictured there.
