Anyone run a superchips flashpaq or any other programmer on there 4.6 truck? If so how you like it. Kicking around the idea of getting one.

Ive had my sctx4 for a while now and I have to say I'm impressed!!!
First I'll be honest and tell you the bad part on any controller is that the can tunes don't really do much for performance unless you run 93 octane on tune 3, and even then it's a pretty **** poor improvement.
The good thing is that a custom tune really livens up the truck and compliments any upgrades like my ported throttle body and honed plenum, exhaust and rear cat delete and any mods you have done.
For me the main thing that's I love about good tuners is how you can change the settings to take my 4.3 gears and 33" tires I into account. The speedo is bang on now and the transmission shifts better and holds gears much better in the hills with a trailer in tow.
I don't know about the superchips one but if it can do what my sctx4 can then I'd say do it
