And that's sadly most of the problems with the new diesels. And hardcore are you saying he did a boosted launch cause unless you have a smoke switch there is always boost. And is your buddies tuned? Cause a deleted and tuned 6.0 puts down massive numbers. But as said before you want at least studs before a tune.

No you don't want to. That's diesel leaving the exhaust tip. The engine is not running at peak efficiency. There Is a way to put a smoke switch on these, but it involves some wiring and since you're asking which tuner to get I'm gonna say it wouldn't be a project for you. But the tunes that make them smoke are what kills these trucks.

When your 'rolling coal' it's using too much fuel for complete combustion. A good tune will not do that, but they will all usually smoke with a quick stab of the throttle due to increase fueling for quicker turbo spool.
And just a FYI. You can get a smoke tune for the SCT. but it's stupid especially since it's not on the fly. I have a buddy with it

A smoke switch kill your turbo so your just dumping fuel. It's so retarded and most respected diesel guys won't have anything to do with it. Go on a diesel forum and ask how to do a smoke switch you will catch so much ****.
