Get a new mechanic. Odds are high that it's not O2s, both sides rarely fall at them same time, unless other issues are apparent. Fuel pump was a waste unless it was failing anyway.

Being both sides, I'd focus on air. Elbow of pcv being cracked is what I'd guess.
