is it possible to change the low end air controls to the nicer one's?

Hmmm... Funny, I was just wondering the same thing the other day. One of the things I do miss about my Town Car is the nicer heating controls. Would be sweet to upgrade them if it isn't too much trouble.

One thing thats obvious is in your pics... In the bottom one, between the cigarette lighter door, and the cupholders you'll see a few little slots... I'm pretty sure that's for the temperature sensor that tells the controls when to blow warm or cold or not at all... That's what would worry me is all the little extras like that. I'd imagine a lot of wires, possibly vacuum lines... I'm sure it's a computerized setup, but not sure if it's self contained, or if you'd have to ad a bunch of other components... Will definitely be interesting to see if anyone has any ideas! Cause I'm lost, LOL

funny thing though is that those heater controls are identical to the ones in my (& Lincoln Town car that I traded in for this truck, LOL

im sure it runs lines to the battery obiously, then just plug n play type situation besides the temp sensor?

I'm planning on going to the junk yard anyway... maybe if I get lucky, ai'll find one of each of these and maybe can figure something out

just noticed the bezel (i think thats what its called) its square around the bottom on the bottom pic than the rounded one on top pic

yeah, but you'd have to swap out bezels anyway to get the little openings for the temp sensor.. Aside from that they look the same
