Default Centerlink

im having a problem with the steering. Took it in for an alignment, they showed me where the center link/tierods connection is rubbing on the frame. Looks like it all needs to be replaced, pitman, idle arm, tierods, etc.
my questions. Could all those parts being worn out cause it to rub? Could the center link be installed with the bends pointing the wrong way?

Yes, someone on here recently bought a truck with the centerlink installed upside down.... so yes, it is possible. And yes, his question started out the same: "why is this rubbing?".

The idler arm itself can cause a rub.

Took a couple pics, but can't seem to get them to post. I'll try again tonight when I get home.
center link has the bends at each end facing towards the rear of the truck. Is that correct?
passenger side outer tie rod is clearly worn out and has a big tilt to it. Not bent, the pivot point.
