I think someone has done it but I cant find the write up in it. Anyone know what it would take to make a center console shifter from an 04+ F150 work in our trucks? Get an expedition console and mount it on there. I just really like the look and feel of them over the shifter we have on the column.

A member named patman did it over on f150 online. You need a new shifter cable and it requires some added wiring to make it function correctly. I have thought about doing myself.

 

That would be pretty sweet, maybe work one in with a expy console so that if still matchs the interior

Yeah I found it now. If you search patman shifter F150 online it come up. I might just have to tackle this over winter! Don't know nothing about fiberglass though. Thanks guys!
