hey i was wondering if i remove my 2 rear cats how can i get my check engine light not to come on

I think your light would come on and your engine won't run smooth.

Rear O2 sensors only monitor catalytic sufficiency, they do not monitor or control a/f ratios. No harm in fooling them with the Gotts or foulers and actually prevents the CEL.

I had a friend of mine delete his rears and use the foulers and it did NOT work. Still got codes and ran real rough.

^ Any modification to the cats should also be accompanied by custom tuning to account for the different flow past the front O2s.

*Results may vary. Side affects include nausea, sensitivity to light or sound, and fatigue. But seriously, it's not a 100% solution but the rears alone shouldn't affect engine function.

If your friends ran rough with the faulers then it ran rough before them since rears don't have anthing to do with peformace. Sometimes you have to double up the faulers to pull them out of the exhaust stream further.
