Default CarQuest CRAP!!!!!!!

hey everyone, i have a 2000 f150 4x4 with a ready lift leveling keys installed and can't seem to find a brand of front end parts that last any time at all. The end of january i replaced both upper control arms (ball joints) and the idler arm with carquest crap. last week i checked them again because it felt loose and sure enough it was all loose again. replaced them again and today i checked just for piece of mind and i couldnt beleive that after just 5 days the idler arm was falling rite out again.. there parts are useless. so i am wanting to change the parts out for something that will at least last me a couple years at least. so what type of parts are best? what brands are u ppl using? Help Please!!!!!!!

Might take out those leveling keys and crank your torsions or you might have more parts to replace

I would say it is, they seem to cause more trouble than there worth. I've heard so many say that they've regretting putting them on their trucks that I would never use them on mine.

I think either way things will wear out.. All of the offroad shops I've talked to said to get replacement keys like the ones you have because when you crank the bars up it rides like crap but either way there will be parts wearing out because of torsion crank or leveling keys.. I've got a buddy that has had the readylift keys in his truck for a couple years and has had no issues at all.. He switched to them after torsion crank was such a horrible ride.. I'm in the same dilemma on what to do but I'm gonna go with the keys.. Aftermarket make it safer to make the truck level than stock. Hopefully you find the parts your lookin for but your truck looks awesome I'd definetly keep keys in instead of cranking stock that's IMO

I would go with Moog. That's what I did a few months ago and haven't had any issues. Rock auto.com usually has them for a good price too.

I've been running Ready lift keys for clos to 80k miles. The only ball joints and steering components that seem to last are those made by Moog. An even then you'll be lucky if they last a year.

I find this interesting as my torsion bars are cranked an my truck rides perfectly fine. Can't tell the difference in it and any of my friends stock 150's. Weird.
