As some of you know last year my A/C compressor locked up and the belt broke the belt tentioner off and spit it at my feet. Well it's lost it's charge and I don't know if it's a vacuum line or what going to the little radiator in front of the radiator that holds coolant. It's in front of the skid plate and is rubber. I can't get a picture tonight but I might be able to tomorrow. I need to know what kinda line it is. I'm literally dying without A/C in my black truck and it's been 90 outside all month. And of course I have the king ranch seats so the sweat is messing them up. And I'm pretty sure it's that line it was wet looking and I'm pretty sure the pulley hit it when it broke.

Fan, that little radiator in front, ye talking about transmission cooler or ac thingamabob? Does sound like ye belt made a mess of something.

here are those pictures. I think this is the leak because it held a charge for almost 3 weeks. It's the only wet/oily spot I can find on the entire A/C system. It's right in front of the Skid plate. And yes it did. It blew chunks and bits of rubber all over the motor then spit out at my feet. Along with the belt tentioner.

The small radiator is called the condensor. You can get the hose from Ford. You'll also have to vacuum the system down and recharge it after you replace the hose.

There was a place where I used to live in Valdosta, Ga called AC Radiator warehouse that would custom make lines far cheaper than factory prices. Don't know if they're still in business, but maybe you can find something similar.

I dont recall the A/c Lines coming in from the bottom of the condensor. They actually come in from the side of the condenser on the passenger side. The picture you posted looks to be the factory transmission cooler line.

well it's not leaking fluid at all and that's the only spot i can find that is moist or oily. All I know is I can't stand it without A/C haha it's been 90 here for like 3 months and no A/C. And of course my trucks black and my sweats darkening the seats.
