A/C ByPass
I decided to run a smaller belt on my '99 5.4, to bypass the A/C for now, instead of using the Bypass pulley that I bought. I think the bearing is just bad, and don't want to take it to a shop to drain the refrigerant (money is tight because holidays, where I live they charge way to much) Is it still safe, and cause no harm to bypass with a shorter belt? Leaving the compressor on. What all do I need?
1. Shorter belt
2. Ribbed Idler pulley
Do I also have to change the tensioner assembly?
