Body is in great shape. Interior is ok. Needs good cleaning and drivers seat is a little worn. Has nice matching leer top on back. Miles are higher than I like but it is a 2001. What is the life span on the 4.6?

Depends on how he treated it (meaning changing oil and maintenace).. Properly maintained 250+ shouldnt be a problem.

Man I didn't know you guys disliked the 4.6 this much! It seemed to have decent power but definitely could use new throttle cable or temp zip ties.

May I point out that I love my 4.6L.. And you're right, the zip ties are definitely a good idea.

How many miles were on it? Notice any problems with 4x4, rear window or power locks?

haha I was JK with the 4.6 jokes. Its a good enginge, I was just trying to give you "quotes\lines" to get the truck cheaper.

Miles were 192xxx. 4x4 engaged well. Everything worked including power seat. New radio with iPod and blue tooth for phone.

The 4.6 wasn't bad but it wasn't fair that I drove my wife's 5.7 Hemi jeep home!! Lol

Decided to buy truck as long as the carfax checks out okay. I think it is a good deal. Anybody already have an account open for carfax that wouldn't mind running a vin for me? Thanks
