Default burn out

I know it seems childish and stupid, but my truck can't do a burn out/ power brake/ brake stand.... Is this normal on all 4.6? It feels like it has pleanty of power, but just can't break the tires loose. Its all stock other than an AEM CAI, 2003 Screw FX4.

Thanks guys.

I'm mashing the pedal to the floor. The one thing I'm thinking that is preventing it might be that my tires are almost bald. So maybe they are acting like slicks. But it still seems like it should be able to do something.

Try easier on the brakes. You have brakes in the rear as well. Or get started on some loose stuff and move out into the asphalt.

Im guessing your holding the brakes then smashing the gas?

Try smashing the gas first, and split second later apply brake pressure.

Unsure of the gear ratio. I have only had the truck for a couple months.

It will do it on wet roads, but that's no fun. I have tried all different brake pedal pressures.
