Well rivers, you put me in a predicament now. I’m second guessing myself about it. So I’ll post some pictures for some second opinions.
Here’s how it sits now Unfortunately This is the only tag on it. Old and faded and washed away. This is the eBay grille guard I found that matches my mounting points. As you can see, it matches my brackets well.
The other point made my an older poster is the inside measures 38inches. Like KDs brush guard for his 2000
okay so mine measures up correctly. But how do you all mount yours because my frame measures around 35 outside to outside
My brackets mount on the out side of the frame and are offset out. Look at the pic I posted in pose 2. Mine came off my sons 03 7700 4x4 and lineded right up on my 99 2 wheel drive. I did have to cut slots in my lower valance as 2wd is different

Now it’s about locating a set of brackets. I have no issue drilling on my brush guard or brackets to make the holes line up, just not drilling the frame.

this is the kit that goes on the outside of the frame rails and then attaches to the brush guard. Comes with all the hardware to mount it properly.
Just updating you all here. My bottom 2 bolts lined up perfectly. So It all bolted straight up. I recommend pulling the valence, it makes it so much easier to access the hardware to tighten.
I got a new 4WD valence ordered. A whole $36 shipped. Definitely worth buying just to a wood the hassle of cutting the old one.
