I'm having some trouble finding a brush guard for my 1997 extended cab lariat. Anyone have the same truck with a brush guard? If so where did u get it?

 

I have a '98 (same front bumper/valence as '97), and no luck so far! Most are made for the '99 and up with the tow hooks, and they use the same bolts and existing holes in the frame. Can't find anyone that makes an adapter kit for the brackets - even if I'm willing to drill the holes myself! Let me know if you have any luck.

 

As far as I know, nobody sells just the adapters for 4x4 guards to 4x2

I have a 99 with the different front end but my grille guard is interchangeable with the 97-98, found it at a swap meet store for 250. They gave me a 4x4 guard but had adapter brackets for 4x2

 

Mine fits all 1997-2003's and it's a MAAP

 

If your near KS I'd sell you the one I just took off mine lol

I got mine from jcwhitney it was only like 150 about 3 years back. Mine is the same setup as yours
