I have a brake squalling, I have eliminated everything I can think of including a caliper that was questionable. brand new pads at all four corners. The only thing I can think of is maybe the emergency drums. That being said I know nothing about them. Is it possible that's what is causing my squalling? If so is changing the shoes like it would be on a normal drum break setup?

Pull the rotor (assuming you have rear disc) and see if the parking brake pad is still attached to the backing plate. Often they fall apart and make a racket when driving.

If it's still attached then make sure it's not out of adjustment by rotating the parking brake adjuster at the bottom until it has little play but doesn't drag.

Yes it's a disk brake. Well for the sake of trying I removed the rotor to find the shoes are wore out completely. So as for a quick fix I removed the completely seased lash adjuster. With that being said is this OK? I didn't see any reason why not? The e-brake has not worked since I have owned the truck so that's not a problem untill I can get the parts to rebuild

Leaving it out shouldn't cause any problems as it's just a pivot point when you engage the brake. The e-brake setup isn't important until you need it...then it's very important so hopefully you get it back up and running soon.

I had the same squeak happen to me on my Expedition, except the brake material fell off the shoes. I freed up the adjusters with some Kroil, and they were good as new.

Mine as well but my adjusters were too rusted. Had to replace the adjusters, shoes and the cables to get it all working again.

Did you put small amount of brake lube on the lubrication points?
