Default Brakes

HELP! Can anyone possibly tell me what's wrong with the brakes on my 2003 F150?

Two wheel drive, new brake pads, greased the hardware, new brake lines, rotors are good, 1 new calliper (rear), have bed brakes three times, brake fluid up.

When I apply the brakes, they go almost to the floor. If I pump them, they come up a bit, and they stop pretty good.

Can anyone tell me if there is something I'm missing or something else I can try?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Lynne

Before the new pads and lines, was it going to the floor? Aside from wear on the pads, how did the brake system behave before you opened it up?

If there are no leaks, sounds like maybe the master cylinder.

Yes was going down, that's why thought brakes were worn, which they were but does the same thing

Sounds like your master cylinder needs replacing.

Open the reservoir and have someone step on the brakes. You may see bubbles or.the fluid swishing around.

Before you go replacing things, you should try and bleed your brakes. If you just put that new caliper on recently then air may have gotten in the lines and that's your problem.
